CEN wall-mount cabinets

Description

- Compact, wall-mount cabinets are designed for installation of electrical equipment which requires protection from unauthorized access and environmental impact: dust, moisture, etc. - Standard version is designed for indoor applications. - Wall-mount cabinets are manufactured in 20 dimensions in accordance with the chart below. Cabinets of nonstandard dimensions or stainless steel options are available upon request.

Description of CEN construction

The CEN body is made of a tight-welded, sheet metal construction The wide-opening door allows for maximal space utilization Multi-folded enclosure aperture protects against dust and moisture, even when the door is open In the bottom of the body there is an opening for a gland plate. Dimension of the opening depends on the dimensions of the cabinet On the inside of the rear panel there are self-tapping screws for fixing the mounting plate On the rear panel there are cut-outs for mounting the cabinet directly on the wall or using lifting brackets

Door

All CEN cabinets have single-wing doors Depending on height, either one or two locks with double-bit insert are used:     cabinets up to 15.7” (400 mm) high – one lock in the middle,     cabinets from 19.7” (500 mm) to 39.4” (1000 mm) high – two locks The door is fitted with hinges, the number of hinges depends upon the cabinet height:     from 11.8” (300 mm) to 23.6” (600 mm) – two hinges,     from 31.5” (800 mm) to 39.4” (1000 mm) – three hinges Interior of the door includes sealing gasket and grounding studs Ability to easily change the door-opening direction Maximum door opening angle 120°

Mounting plate

Fitted to the rear panel In cabinets up to 23.6” (600 mm) high the flat mounting plate is used In cabinets 31.5” (800 mm) or 39.4” (1000 mm) high the folded mounting plate is used to maintain stiffness Mounting plate includes fixing points for grounding bar

Blanking plate-cable entry plate

Fitted to cut-out in the bottom plate by self-tapping screws Includes sealing gasket and grounding stud Gland cable entries available on request

Grounding and potential equalization

The door and the blanking plate include grounding studs Grounding bar, potential equalization bar (for fixing to the mounting plate), and grounding cables are available as supplementary accessories

Protection degree

IP 65 in accordance with PN-92/E-08106/EN 60 529/IEC 529
