Calcium Sulphate Access Floor

Design
|
The high-density NORTEC calcium sulphate panels are manufactured with selected raw materials in a patented single-pulse pressing procedure. This combination guarantees a consistently high-quality product. As reinforcing material, only nontoxic, unbleached cellulose fibers of primary and secondary cellulose are used. This enables us to manufacture a product of consistently superior quality. The panel can be supplied with or without an edge band (dependent on the floor covering applied); these being tapered for easier installation of the integrated panel system. The underside may be additionally lined with galvanized steel sheet or aluminum foil.
|
Calcium sulphate panel
|
The support elements used have been specially developed for use with access flooring. The main components of these panels are gypsum and high-quality cellulose fibers. Various thicknesses of the panels, as well as special formats, round off the NORTEC line of products. To be able to manufacture standard access floor panels with extra static requirements, and without increasing the thickness of the panels, a special manufacturing process was developed to meet growing demands.
|
Design of the edges
|
The edges of the panels are tapered down at 5°, which enables simple removal and exchange of the integrated panel system. As an option, the panels can be jacketed with a high-quality plastic compound edge, which offers a defined electrostatic conductivity.
|
Coating of the lower face of the panel
|
The increased strength of ST-type panels is based on 0.5 mm (0.02”) thick galvanized steel sheet on the lower face of the panel.
|
Floor coverings
|
Generally, all common access floor coverings are suited. In the standard design, the edge is, with elastic coverings, pulled up to the upper surface of the covering (exception: knobby floor coverings). When applying loosely laid floor coverings, we recommend providing the carrier panels with an appropriate coating.
|
Special features
Individual panel thickness
The panel edges are beveled downward, simplify mounting and replacement of the panels
Meet the strictest requirements of fire safety F60
To increase the eventual load capacity, the lower surface of the panel may be coated with an iron plate
The panel edges are covered with plastic, which provides optimal board contact
Stringers and other optional components of the system make it possible to increase the strength of the construction

Fire resistance
|
The steadily increasing demand for using incombustible materials to reduce risk of fire in buildings makes the Hyperline Calcium Sulphate Access Floor a very valuable solution, which offers both functional and safety advantages. Superior fire resistance and alevel of comfort are the main features of the Hyperline Calcium Sulphate Access Floor – a most intelligent solution.
|
High degree of flexibility
Standard panel thicknesses between 0.9” to 1.6” (24 to 40 mm), as well as unique material combinations are available to accommodate any specific load-bearing requirement – tailor-made solutions can be offered as standard.
Acoustic characteristics
The material structure, design features, and high precision production of the access floor panels provide excellent acoustic values. The great walking properties offer a high degree of comfort and create the perfect working environment.
Electrostatic characteristics
Electrostatic charges are dissipated, regardless of panel material, by the inherent design features. The ohmic resistance defined in this way allows grounding compliance in accordance with VDE 0100 using suitable floor coverings.
Air ventilation
Either plastic or metal ventilation components can be fitted into the calcium sulphate panel, or steel ventilation panels can be installed instead of NORTEC panels, in order to accommodate the requirements of the sub-floor air conditioning system.
Ecology
Due to the environmentally-friendly production process, and the use of ecologically safe materials, 90 to 97% of the Hyperline panels will be recyclable at the end of their life – a very important ecological consideration today. |
